We all grow up with the weight of history on us. Our ancestors dwell in the attics of our brains as they do in the spiraling chains of knowledge hidden in every cell of our bodies.
Is it okay if I start posting reviews of books here? If I do it, I’m going to be posting a review once or maybe twice a week.
Day 3: Someone you’re grateful for…
My mom. She’s been with me through everything and to this day she continues to do it. She’s in the top of my “people who inspires me” list, she’s been through a lot and she still manages to keep her head high and keep being the classy, happy woman that she is. I want to be like her when I grow up.
Day 2: A song that makes you happy
Dream Big by Emily Shackelton
I loved this song the minute I heard David Cook singing it on American Idol. It’s such an empowering song, and whenever I’m feeling down thinking I’m never going to reach my dreams I listen to this song and I instantly feel better.
The great thing in the world is not so much where we stand, as in what direction we are moving
– Oliver W Holmes.
I know I was supposed to post Day 2 of the #LiveForTomorrow challenge but it was my nephew’s baby shower today and we were really busy. On the way back home we had a minor car accident, now I have a huge bump on my forehead and a horrible headache. I don’t feel like writing Day 2 of the challenge right now, so I’ll post day 2 and 3 tomorrow.
I’m going to try and sleep now, goodnight and sweet dreams (good morning and good day for some).
